A Message from Fr. Daniel Griffith: Ash Wednesday Schedule February 21, 2023

Basilica schedule updates based on the winter storm warning:

  • February 22: Ash Wednesday: Masses at 7:00am, Noon and 5:30pm will proceed. We will have a soup luncheon after the Noon Mass, but will not host the soup supper after the 5:30pm Mass.
    • Livestream available for the Noon and 5:30pm Masses.
    • Parking note – the MCTC ramp is recommended, due to the city parking allowance for the lot under I-94.

  • Thursday, February 23: Basilica buildings are closed. Morning prayer and the 7:00am and Noon Masses are cancelled.

  • Friday, February 24:7:00am Mass is canceled; offices may open depending on the weather and snow removal. Currently, Noon Mass and Stations of the Cross remain scheduled.
    • Ashes will be available at Stations of the Cross at 5:30pm.

Please join our parish and community in praying for the safety of all those who will be affected by this significant snowstorm, including our homeless sisters and brothers, emergency workers, first responders, and those removing and plowing the snow.
