Bex Gaunt is an award-winning performer, composer, and conductor based in Saint Paul, MN. A graduate of Florida State University and McNally Smith College of Music, Bex has performed throughout the Twin Cities, including appearances with ensembles like the Minnesota Orchestra, VocalEssence, and The Okee Dokee Brothers. As a composer of choral and liturgical music, Bex has numerous publications with GIA Publications and the Justice Choir Songbook. Her work as a hymn tune writer has involved collaborations with esteemed text authors Adam Tice, David Bjorlin, Chris Shelton, and Sr. Delores Dufner. She has extensive experience in liturgical music leadership having served at the Co-Cathedral of St. Thomas More (Tallahassee, FL), St. Catherine University (St. Paul, MN), and Nativity Lutheran (St. Anthony, MN). Bex has performed and presented at the national conventions for the National Association for Pastoral Musicians, the Los Angeles Religious Education Conference, and the One Call Institute (Saint John’s University, Collegeville, MN).
