Deb Sundquist Parish Council Ministry Representative

Deb Sundquist has a passion for sustainable energy use and reducing the Basilica’s energy costs.  She currently serves on the Basilica’s Creation Justice Committee which promotes stewardship of God’s creation, our common home.  Deb has been a judge on the Workers’ Compensation Court of Appeals since 2015.  She is a fellow of the College of Workers’ Compensation Lawyers.  Before her judicial appointment, she practiced law for 26 years and was a partner at the Aafedt Forde law firm.  Deb was born and raised in a big Catholic German Polish family in Mendota Heights with five brothers and one sister.  She is a mother of four adult children and a grandmother.
