Meagan Phillips Children’s Choir Director

Meagan Phillips has been a music educator for 22 years. She began with the St. John’s Boys’ Choir while completing her BA in Music at the College of St. Benedict. As an Americorps volunteer, she founded a music program at a bilingual charter school in Massachusetts. She met her husband-to-be in Massachusetts and he graciously agreed to return to Minnesota to raise their family which includes two sons and a daughter. Meagan earned her Masters in Education through St. Mary’s University in 2017 and her PK-12 Administrative Certificate and License in 2022. Meagan and her family have been members of The Basilica since 2018 and are active volunteers in multiple ministries.
