Sophie Burroughs Coordinator of Caring Ministries

Sophie began attending The Basilica in 2022 and began working on staff in November of 2024. She has a BSW from the University of Mary in North Dakota. Her background in social work has fed her passion of being an active member of her community. She sees The Basilica as an opportunity to continue meeting the many faces of Christ in everyday encounters. As Coordinator of Caring Ministries, she hopes to support some of our parish’s long standing groups and is always open to learning more about the needs of our parishioners.

Outside of work she enjoys trying new foods, attending live shows of any kind, and sharing all of this with good friends.
