The Basilica currently has several exterior restoration projects in process. The church is open during this time. Please be aware that there may be various sidewalk and door closures around the campus as work continues.
East Accessible Door (Door #24):
• Closed August 18–22 for tower installation.
• Reopens Friday evening for weekend services.
• Sidewalk south of Cowley (16th to east door) also closed during this time.
• Use alternate sidewalks from Cowley lot.
• East door will remain open but accessed under scaffolding.
North School Stairs:
• Concrete work begins next week.
• North entrance expected to be usable between September 1–8 (may not be fully finished).
Lift Access & Sidewalk Railing:
• Metal handrail on accessible sidewalk will be temporarily cut to allow lift access.
• Sidewalk remains open.
• Railing will be restored after work is complete.
