All-powerful God, inspire us to be faithful followers of Jesus, send down your Holy Spirit to enlighten our conscience, and grant us the wisdom and courage to act according to your will. Bless us with leaders who speak the truth and who act with justice, bless us with leaders who are filled with wisdom and who govern with compassion, and bless us with leaders who are committed to the common good, and the healing of our broken world.
