Bridging the Divide

As part of our partnership with Notre Dame Alumni Association and the ongoing Hesburgh Lecture series, The Basilica will be welcoming Professor John Duffy to the Twin Cities on Saturday, November 11, 2023. Dr. Duffy will speak on the topic Bridging the Divide.
Before the 2020 election, one thing many sadly agreed on was our nation was likely to remain deeply divided, regardless of the outcome. Repairing or bridging the deep political and social divisions within our society will require leadership consensus building, and trust. The aim of this lecture is to help people find common ground on the issues that often divide Americans.
