Children’s Liturgy of the Word

Children’s Liturgy of the Word is returning on the Sundays in the school year when our students don’t have faith formation class. Children in approximately kindergarten- 5th grade are dismissed from Mass at the start of the Liturgy of the Word. We will gather with volunteer catechists in the Saint Joseph Chapel to hear the same scripture readings in simpler, age-appropriate language, and then share reflections, prayers, and faith concepts before rejoining the congregation in church for the Liturgy of the Eucharist. Any kindergarten-5th grade students are invited to participate — please listen for the invitation after the opening prayer at Mass!
