The time-honored tradition of Christmas with Saint Ben’s & Saint John’s performances will be held on the Saint John’s University campus on December 5 and 6 and at the Basilica of Saint Mary in Minneapolis on December 6. Beloved annual pieces to be performed include “The Glory of the Father” (Egil Hovland) and “Personent Hodie” (arr. Lara Hoggard)! CSB+SJU choir alumni/ae are invited to join the student musicians in the singing of these pieces (Basilica performance only). Other exciting repertoire includes music by G.P. da Palestrina, J.S. Bach, Stanford Scriven, Eleanor Daley, Lucy Walker, Camille Saint-Saëns, Rosephanye Powell, Juan García de Zéspedes, and more! The annual concert celebrates the seasons of Advent and Christmas through traditional and contemporary music.
