Thursday, January 11, 6:30-8:00pm
Teresa of Calcutta Hall, lower level
Join leaders from Lutheran Social Services and enter into dialogue about engaging Catholic Social Teaching in our community. Through historical documents, dialogue, and reflection, LSS Social worker Raevhann Rush will offer a presentation to explore the effects of neutrality on social justice efforts, spark conversation about how we each hold neutrality, and build awareness of what it means to take action in addressing racism and privilege.
This session is particularly applicable to anyone who is walking alongside newly arrived refugees/immigrants in Minnesota. All resettlement agency volunteers/staff/community partners are invited!
