Intersangha Buddhist Vigil in Solidarity with Immigrants

Members from several Twin Cities Buddhist Communities will be making offerings during the vigil:

• The Minnesota Zen Center
• Twin Cities Buddhist Sangha
• Blooming Heart Sangha

Join Basilica parishioners in an interfaith vigil of prayer and song supporting our immigrant brothers and sisters. The Whipple Federal Building is the regional ICE headquarters for a five-state area, and the site of both immigrant detention facilities and an immigration court. The Basilica parishioners are active partners with the Interfaith Coalition on Immigration.

Due to recent DHS restrictions on entering the Whipple Federal Building property, this month’s vigil will be held This month’s vigil will be held across from the south entrance of the Whipple Federal Building parking lot on the south side of Minnehaha Avenue / Tower Road, near the Metro Transit South parking lot.
