Pilgrims Crossing the Threshold of Hope

Recognizing the Jubilee Year of 2025, Pope Francis has invited believers to become “Pilgrims of Hope” who demonstrate to the world a joy and a confidence in the good news of the gospel that sustains us in times of challenge and catalyzes us into action.  Our world often invites us to despair for the future and flee from communion among people of different outlooks.  As John Paul II reminds us, hope compels us to “cross thresholds” and imagine relationships transformed by confident hope.  In our time together, we will focus on the meaning of a jubilee year, the theological nature of hope, and the call to deeper and communal reconciliation for ourselves and our world.

Sunday, April 27 at 11:15am, Teresa of Calcutta Hall/Lower Level
