Help us Shoe Away Hunger
February 18/19 help us “Shoe Away Hunger” and donate your gently used shoes and boots to the local non-profit organization, Good in the Hood. Their “Shoe Away Hunger” program sells, at very low prices, gently used shoes and boots to those in need and uses the profits to support their food programs.
All styles and sizes are welcomed. Collection boxes will be located in the narthex by each door and also in the Teresa of Calcutta Hall during after Mass hospitality.
Can’t bring your shoes and boots to the Basilica on the shoe collection dates? Just bring them to the rectory and let the receptionist know they are for “Shoe Away Hunger.”
