Side by Side Saturdays: Mindful Journaling + Community Packing Event 

You are invited to a special event of one of our newest St. Vincent de Paul ministries! Side by Side (SBS) Saturdays is an innovative ministry where community is being built between our parishioners and our St. Vincent de Paul ministry guests. On Saturday, December 14^th, we will host an event combining our traditional SBS programming, which focuses on professional speakers presenting on personal wellness and mindfulness topics, with a packing event for a local homeless shelter.

Teresa of Calcutta Hall

The event will occur from 9:00am – 11:00am in the Teresa of Calcutta Hall.

• 9:00 – 9:30am: We will gather for hospitality. The program will start at 9:30am sharp.
• 9:30 – 10:15am:  Presentation by Margaret Hasse leading the group through mindful journaling.
• 10:15 – 11:00am:  Packing kits of pre-ordered toys and activities for children at the People Serving People shelter.

Register

Regular SBS presentations occur on the 2^nd and 4^th Saturdays of the month, and packing events are held quarterly. There are opportunities for regular volunteering with the ministry (once or twice a month). All are also welcome to drop in to the ministry when available.
