Celebrating 36 Years of Bringing Music and Minnesotans Together!

A Note from Our Conductor

Dear Friends and Supporters,

As you may already know, the Minnesota Sinfonia will cease concert performances in the fall of 2024. We will, however, continue performing our Music in the Schools in the Minneapolis and St. Paul public schools for the 2024-25 academic year. This was a difficult decision to make, and the Board and I thought long and hard before deciding on this course of action.

I want you to know how truly grateful I am for your steadfast interest and support for the Sinfonia and our programs. These have been wonderful years, and they could not have happened without you! Please bring your friends and families (absolutely bring the kids) and join us for our upcoming “Farewell” performances on October 18th at First Covenant Church (1280 Arcade Street, East St. Paul) starting at 7:00 p.m., and October 20th at the Basilica of Saint Mary in Minneapolis (17th and North Hennepin Avenue) starting at 2:00 p.m. As always, these concerts will be free admission, and receptions will follow both performances.

Again, I want to say my thanks and wish you the very best,

Jay Fishman
Artistic Director
