The Basilica of Saint Mary community extends our prayers and support in the wake of the tragic killing of Representative Hortman and her husband and the shooting of Senator Hoffman and his wife. We pray for their full recovery. We also fervently pray for safety for all and for an end to political violence in our community and nation. May God transform our hearts and our communities and may justice, fraternity, and peace soon accompany our common social life.
