The Wedding Staff at The Basilica of Saint Mary is happy to help you with the preparation of your wedding. Together, we have many years of collective experience. We celebrate around 50 weddings a year. In addition, The Basilica hosts many other liturgical functions and events every day of the year.

Damage Deposit Information
A $500.00 damage deposit is due to The Basilica wedding planner at the time you meet to prepare your liturgy.
The Basilica strives - and is expected - to provide quality liturgy for the spiritual benefit of those who pass through our doors. In signing the contract when you secured your date, you agreed to uphold these policies and procedures. The damage deposit covers not only any damages that might result from using our facilities, but ensures that you follow the Principles, Policies and Procedures booklet.
The wedding coordinator is responsible for filling out the damage deposit checklist throughout the day of the ceremony. A member of the wedding party (usually an usher or personal attendant) will be asked to accompany the wedding coordinator on a brief inspection of the dressing areas shortly after the wedding has begun. This representative will be asked to sign the checklist, indicating that he/she has seen the rooms' conditions.
Please allow two weeks for processing the damage deposit. Any conditions/incidents that result in a partial or no refund will be explained in detail on the checklist form and sent to the couple following the ceremony.
